We’re delighted to share that three of our programmes which blend our expertise in Personalised Care and improvement have been re-accredited by the Personalised Care Institute (PCI) for a fourth year, demonstrating our commitment to supporting members and customers to embed Personalised Care and Shared Decision Making into their work.
In our 2024 – 2027 strategy, we outline our approach to co-design and co-deliver sustainable, person-centred improvement solutions. Our bespoke Personalised Care programmes are a key part of this approach.
Emma Walker, Associate Director at Aqua said:
“I am delighted that our programmes have been re-accredited by the Personalised Care Institute for a fourth year. At Aqua, we believe that Personalised Care and the voice of the service user/patient should be at the heart of everything we do. This is enabled by our new strategy, meaning it’s now even easier for us to embed this approach into all areas of our work.”
One participant from our Personalised Care Leadership Development Programme with Sussex Integrated Care System said:
“I was really excited about the approach and format of the programme, with the different speakers and methodologies. I loved that we discussed different methods of behaviour and how we have conversations. I’ve learned about so much more than just Personalised Care.”
Ill informed consent (patients giving consent without fully understanding the implications of their medical treatments or procedures) cost the NHS in England over £400m in litigation from 2011 to 2022. By embedding Personalised Care and Shared Decision Making across the NHS, we can significantly reduce this cost.
Our bespoke Personalised Care programmes can help you do this. They are tailored to your needs, combining Shared Decision Making, Shared Management Support, Personalised Care Planning and Patient Activation Measures with basic Quality Improvement tools and techniques such as The Model for Improvement and Stakeholder Mapping. We help you use these tools to embed improvements and solve your identified challenges.
We are currently offering the following bespoke Personalised Care programmes:
