We are delighted to announce that our Advancing Quality (AQ) programme has been shortlisted for the ‘Driving Change through Data and Analytics’ award at the Health Service Journal’s Digital Health Awards.
The whole AQ team have worked incredibly hard to develop and deliver a programme that makes a real difference to populations throughout the North West and beyond. Our uniquely validated, condition-specific dataset helps trusts assess their performance, compare themselves to their peers, and highlight what is going well and what could be done better. We use data to support better care and experience for sepsis, pneumonia (both community and hospital acquired), acute kidney injury, decompensated liver disease, and elective hip and knee replacement.
“I am thrilled to see that the Advancing Quality (AQ) programme is getting such positive recognition. Since its inception in 2008, the team have worked tirelessly, empowering trusts to identify opportunities for improvement, using data driven decisions to demonstrate impact and ensure improvement is sustained.”
-Sue Holden, Aqua CEO.
The HSJ Digital Awards are a prestigious set of awards, given to those using digital products, projects and services to transform care delivery, enhance efficiency, and improve patient outcomes. The AQ programme is shortlisted for the Driving Change through Data and Analytics Award with a selection of brilliant organisations and teams, and we are honoured to have been named alongside them.
“I am incredibly proud of the AQ team and our entire AQ clinical network, who have worked collaboratively and diligently to improve patient care over the last 15 years. Without the longstanding commitments and hard work from AQ’s data inputters, clinical leads and multidisciplinary teams, this very special programme wouldn’t be possible. A massive well done to everyone”.
– Dr Becci Pearce, AQ Programme Manager.
The awards ceremony date will take place on 22 June 2023 in Manchester and we are incredibly excited to attend as a shortlisted organisation.
The AQ team produce regular analysis and reporting at provider and system level, with our specialist Senior Improvement Advisors working with trusts to identify opportunities for improvement projects. We currently work with 73 clinical teams across 21 providers, implementing our distinctive, data-driven approach to delivering better outcomes for patients.
