Advancing Quality (AQ) is a programme designed to support better outcomes for patients through continuous improvement.
These reports summarise 2019 performance for participating trusts and hospitals in our five clinical focus area: acute kidney injury (AKI), alcohol related liver disease (ARLD), elective hip and knee replacement, community acquired pneumonia (CAP) and sepsis NEWS. They contain information about each participating organisation’s Appropriate Care Score (ACS) and Composite Process Score (CPS), as well as details about readmission rates, length of stay and in-hospital mortality, where appropriate. SPC charts show performance for each AQ measure over the last three years to help identify trends.
If you have any questions about the reports or would like further information, please contact Tom Jenks (AQ Senior BI Analyst) on tom.jenks@srft.nhs.uk
