Medicines Management Improvement Collaborative

Back to Programmes

The Medicines Management Improvement Collaborative is a Learning Collaborative that is aimed at a small number of committed teams who want to improve their approaches to medicines management.

The key aims of the Collaborative:

  • Understanding the need for change in current practice, considering the benefits and challenges in Medicines Management and the tools and resources to support improvement and change.
  • Working together across and within organisational boundaries to practically apply a range of approaches, tackling challenges associated with embedding improvement and change.
  • Learn together and apply knowledge of quality improvement, measurement, team building, leadership, sustainability and spread to support this approach.

Teams could choose to focus on:

  • Medications on Discharge or at the Interface
  • High Risk Medications (e.g. Valproate, Insulin, Gentamicin)
  • Missed Doses
  • Medication Management in Learning Disability services

This programme is now open for applications, if you are interested please get in touch with Lee Knowles for an informal conversation. Applications close on Friday 14 April.
