The Developing Clinical Leaders programme is designed to support those in clinical roles to develop the skills required to lead improvement at service level.
This programme will support you to gain a deeper understanding of improvement methodologies, tools and techniques and develop your QI leadership to empower your staff to make changes.
The programme comprises of 4 full day learning sessions delivered face to face plus 3 coaching sessions which will be delivered virtually. Throughout the course participants will be expected to evidence their learning and practical application through the duration of the programme with a work-based Quality Improvement initiative of their choice which will be outlined in the application form.
Attendance at this programme will provide the key knowledge and skills required for quality improvement and allow participants to develop their understanding of its application within their own working environment.

The programme will be delivered over 5 months and comprises of 4 full day learning sessions delivered face to face plus 3 coaching sessions which will be delivered virtually.
This programme will be delivered both face-to-face and virtually. Our full day learning sessions will be delivered face-to-face at The Holiday Inn, Lodge Lane, Haydock, Newton-le-Willows WA12 0JG, and the coaching calls delivered virtually using MS Teams via The Hub (Aqua’s online learning platform).
