Back to Programmes

Applying Human Factors to Incident Investigation is designed to equip staff with the knowledge and skill set to carry out incident investigations whilst considering a Human Factors approach.

The programme will explore the importance of Psychologically Safe conditions for staff and how these conditions affect Just/ Reporting and Learning Cultures. Participants will be challenged to view incidents with a systems approach to error and consider accountability and culpability as a fluid line which can move in reaction to system challenges. Furthermore, the programme will examine how this thinking, utilised appropriately, will allow for improved organisational learning.

  • Day 1 – Monday 24th January 9.30am-4pm
  • Day 2 – Monday 7th February 9.30am-4pm
