Advanced Human Factors – Train the Trainer is a multi-day programme aimed at teams of 3-5 people to work together to learn the principles, knowledge and approaches needed to deliver the Introduction to Human Factors (HF) programme within their own organisations.
The programme is built around developing delegates’ understanding through theoretical perspectives, sharing examples or how human factors is applicable in healthcare, and opportunities to discuss various case studies and tools.
The team based workshops allow participants to develop an internal support network focused on the organisation’s needs. Facilitated by a team of Human Factors specialists, the principles of human factors will be explored in depth using case studies to demonstrate the ideas in practice.
Please note, existing knowledge of Human Factors is desired.
This programme is ideal for mixed teams with existing knowledge of Human Factors and Quality Improvement, possibly consisting of any of the following: Team Leaders, Safety / Quality Leads, GPs, Nurses, frontline staff and non-clinical roles. We are looking for up to 5 teams of 3 people each but individual applications may be considered.
The programme will take place over 9 sessions.
This programme is delivered virtually through online sessions.
