Evaluation Manager

We are looking for a bright and enthusiastic evaluation specialist to join the Aqua team to help us to deliver insight that drives quality improvement for our customers and members. This post offers individuals with a strong background in evaluation in the healthcare or related sectors the opportunity to take the next step in their career and get involved in work on a wide and varied portfolio of work, supporting the delivery of the Evaluation programme in the delivery of Aqua’s Evaluation consultancy offer.

We need someone with the skills to lead the planning and delivery of programmes and to engage with members, customers and partners to ensure we deliver value and quality.

The role offers a great opportunity to work with both quantitative and qualitative data in ways that can really make a difference to how care is delivered and drive improvement activities with our members and customers. Motivational Interviewing Affiliate

We are seeking Affiliates to work with the Personalised Care Team between 1st April 2022 and the end of March 2023 on the following basis:

The Affiliate will support Aqua’s offers to members. The delivery mode will be virtual on MS Teams or Zoom.

We are seeking applications from health professionals, who have the following experience:

  • Delivering Motivational Interviewing training through interactive training based on the Theory of Planned Behaviour Model by Prochaska and DiClemente (1986).
    • Providing clinicians with the case for change in practice, areas for personal reflection on their own practice, examples of what good communication styles/ approaches feel and sound like, and basic approaches to supporting SDM and SMS.

Lived Experience

Our Lived Experience Affiliates support and challenge Aqua’s programme of work; from developing the ideas, designing the programmes and in their delivery and evaluation. Their insight, experience and stories ensure that co-production, person centeredness and the patient/user service voice are at the heart of our programmes.

Our Lived Experience Panel are experienced in reviewing and evaluating services from a service user perspective and can make recommendations for quality improvement. The Panel work with engagement networks to gather experiences and views from to help develop services that meet peoples’ needs.

We also employ a number of associates and affiliates in particular subject areas to work alongside our staff.

Aqua Affiliates are external contractors who help deliver specific pieces of work or projects. These opportunities will be advertised on our website and on the Gov.uk Contracts Finder website. We welcome CVs from experienced colleagues, but all vacancies follow our recruitment process.

Aqua Associates are colleagues recruited from across our member organisations, to help deliver particular programmes or share their experience with our wider members.
